Default help tuning jdm b16a stock motor

hi all,

ok so i am trying to learn how to tune, i was looking for help in pgmfi.org but the site has been down for quite a while now.

A little info about my build. i have a 99 civic swapped in a jdm b16a obd1, i got a p28 ecu which i have chipped. I burned 203.bin (developer rom) from pgmfi library

someone from pgmfi.org told to get a usb cable to be able to datalog (freelog), and also got a innovate wideband lc-2.

i am not looking to make lots of horse power, i really have no intention at this time to go to a dyno. just looking to make the engine more efficient and a bit more power.

What to do next? after the site went down (pgmfi.org) i have been trying to look for a tutorial a clear step by step on how to do this.

I am a total noob with no experience and needs a lot of spoonfeeding.

thanks

Everything you need is in this link below. Also, download the CROME tuning manual in the OP's (VegasInvasion) signature. For even more you can download AEM's EMS manual but that would be a bit of an overload for a noob in my opinion.

I have downloaded the crome manual and read it already. Well i am kinda looking for the how too's and some explanation. For example what to do and how to get data from freelog to calibrate the tables on the rom(map).

Aside from being in asia which is a very hard place to get the stuff that you guys have over there. I don't really have a clear understanding of what to do with those stuff. So i am trying to learn and work with the stuff that i can get a hold of and have to learn.

Like the innovate lc-2 i took me a while to be able to get my hands on one of those and i had to ask for favors to be able to get it.

If it was avaible locally it would be crazy expensive, like for example a timing light from innovate would cost like double or triple the price.

Thank You

I have seen the crome manual. i have also read it, what i need is how to use the data from freelog and how to use freelog. How to use the data from freelog to calibrate the map columns in the bin file.

Well as i have said i have zero knowldege on how to tune nor do i have any idea on what to do. It is also very hard to get stuff that you guys have over there in asia. If it was locally available it would be crazy expensive. So i am trying to learn the basics with what i have now and see if i can progress later on to better stuff(electronics).

thank you
