best clutch for 96 JDM GSR in 97 hatch
I am getting my GSR next week and I want to change out the clutch... I'm gonna put a 50 shot on it shortly after it is installed and I plan to go turbo down the road
Just wondering what other people are using and how it's holding up etc.
Any Suggestions?

I have a CM Stage 4 and my buddies have ACT Street/Strip Clutch...we all are extremely happy with what we have.
Pedal Pressure is stock like on the CM..grabs harder...4 puck sprung..so you have to get used to it, a bit chatter sometimes if u don't pay attention
...but is fine for daily driving. I do it in LA traffic. It's fine IMO. Day after I had it installed...broke it in with 8-9 passes on slicks at the track. Took it like a champ.
The ACTs on my friends' cars definately have stiffer pedal pressure. Grabs hard...not as hard as the CM though. No chatter on this clutch.
One of my friend's has a 75shot on his 98 lude. Burned out his stock clutch immediately. The ACT has taken the punishment with no problems since then.
Those are my first-hand experiences with two different types of clutches. Hope this helps.

My friend has a 95 gsr and he also has the CM stage 4 and he loves it. He barks 1st thru 4th easy, but that isn't promised because he has a built motor and can drive. He likes it and he encourages people to go with it as well.
