So I bought this 2002 Coupe Honda civix because it said it was an si... I did some research after purchasing the car and apparently 2002 civics sis only come as hatchbacks so my car is a fake si... I was wondering what could I do other than air cold intake and turbo/supercharger to make this car as fast as an si and make it almost a real si and about how much I'm looking for parts and labour or would u recomend someone w no experience to do the Labour w instructions?

 

the hatchbacks are ep3s, I'm pretty new to em2s but I've had a good amount of hondas over the years and although I read there IS a em2 Si i'm not really into finding out what it came with.

the ep3 you thought you were getting comes with a k swap- so you could do that as there is no B series swaps available for this chassis. You cant supercharge them either, but I've heard of a few boosted ones that I'm sure can out perform a stock ep3?

sucks you were told it was an Si when it wasn't but yaknow- research is key. IMO dont make it into a "Si" replica- do your own thing, if you want it fast- go K, otherwise just enjoy what you have

 

The only "EM2 Si" would be the Canadian market car. And, it's identical to the US-Market EX. Their version of our Si is an SiR.
