NEED HELP
Just put in a cold air intake on my 2009 v6 accord coupe. I installed it and it ran all day with no issues. The next morning the check engine light came on. I reset the ecu and then the light went off then when the car cooled off the light comes back on... Any ideas?
1. Get the trouble code and post it. Depending on where you live, most Autozones, etc. will read the code for free.
2. It probably is due to an issue with the MAF sensor (e.g., dirty, etc.) and/or a air leak in the intake system. You may have a trouble code like P0171.

also, how did you reset the ecu? thanks
Not sure on the '10 but yes there are "home" methods to get codes....however with modern cars the actual codes are needed as they will give a better idea of the circuit/system that needs to be tested.

in my case, the way the intake pipe is situated, the MAF is actually sitting upside down... this may be a stupid question, but would this be a leading cause as to why the CEL is lit up ?
If you don't want to/can't get the actual code........put the OE set up back on the car and go for a few drive cycles - a week or so
- and see if the CEL goes out? We really can't help much more than that with the information given.
