i currently have a 99 honda accord lx 2.3, i replaced the mounting gasket on my distributor 3 times do to leaking oil and it continues to do so. could anyone tell me what the problem or the issue could be?

 

Where is it leaking from?
If it is leaking between the distributor and head then the seal you may be using could be incorrect.
If it is leaking oil from under the distributor cap, most likely the internal oil seal is blown.
There is a thread in the Accord FAQ at the top of the page on how to replace it.

 

its coming from under the distributor between the distributor and the head, ive used both seals at autozone that they have to offer for the year and model and it continues to leak oil, ive also have a new valve cover gasket thinking it could be that

 

Have any pic's of the dist end where it goes into the head.

Is the o-ring fitting into the groove on the dist tight.
