Default FS: 1991 Honda Civic hatchback white turbo GSR

Selling my 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback. It is white in color, has SI seats (driver seat has rip on bolster), has coil-over suspension. It's a good driving car and could be driven everyday, as I have driven it to Ocean City and back a few times. I put it together as a fun weekend type toy over a year ago and don't have much time anymore to take it out and hate to let it sit. The paint is ok for the age, has normal scratches, dents, dings, rust spots and wear and tear for a 25 year old Honda. The car is quick for what it is and will get you where you need to go. Mechanically it is in great condition and has a lot of time and energy into the build to ensure reliability. I have taken to the drag strip last spring and it ran 11.50 @ 124 mph on slicks. I'm sure with some fine tuning it could go even faster. It make roughly 450 hp on 18 psi of boost. The car will still get 30-32 mpg if driven conservatively. The mileage on odometer is not exact to this vehicle, as the gauge cluster was switched out at some point, I believe it to be around 175k miles, with 8k miles on the engine and turbo installation.

Price is $6,000 OBO
I am located in Baltimore, Maryland area.

If you are interested please PM me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I am not forced to sell the vehicle and any low-ball offers will be ignored. No joy rides, seriously inquiries only. If you would like to bring your own wheels or will take delivery on some used steel wheels and tires at time of purchase we can work out a deal for a lower price. I'm sure I'm missing some information, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Detailed information:

-B18C1 Acura GSR engine block with forged SRP pistons, Eagle connecting rods, ARP main studs, ARP head studs, Gates Racing timing belt, new oil pump, 3-core half-size radiator with 12" curved blade cooling fan.

-B16 cylinder head with ITR/Integra Type R valvetrain (valves, springs and retainers), AEM adjustable cam gears, ITR intake manifold and 70mm throttle body. Engine was professionally assembled and all machine work was completed by JB's in Rosedale, MD.

-Holset HE351cw T3 60mm turbo, Tempest Racing mini-ram turbo manifold, Tial MV-R wastegate, Tial Q blow-off valve, Vibrant 24x12x3.5 intercooler core with custom end tanks and charge piping, custom oil feed and return lines, HCP (Hub City Performance) custom catch/vent can with drain-back hose.

-5 speed manual transmission from a 92-93 Acura Integra LS model with a ACT 6-puck heavy duty clutch.

- Tokico Illuma struts/shocks with custom coil-over springs. 600#/inch springs in front, 640#/inch springs in rear. Ride is smooth, not bouncy or bumpy.

Nice EF man, looks clean for the age for sure. Was the turbo converted to external gate, or did it come that way? I've seen the same 351cw on a diesel and it was internally gated so I was curious. Clean setup though! Free bump for you

Thanks, B20VtecVillain! I've tried to keep it clean since I've owned, just hard in the mid-atlantic area with the moisture and salt in winter. I welded the internal wastegate flapper on the turbo shut so it does not function at all. The Tial wastegate controls the boost level. Yes, the 351cw has an internal wastegate originally, but it does not open until about 28 psi on those motors, and honestly that little flapper isn't even large enough on those trucks. Thanks for the kind words!!
