Brian_EE4's RT4WD Wagon Build (Picture HEAVY)
Well i bought the car back in 2011 when i got stationed at FT. Lewis WA.. It was bone stock with 130K on the clock and it didnt take me long to start messing with the car. Car has gone from stock to stance and is currently being built as a fun track/autoX car since NOBODY builds civic wagons for circuit i figured i would lol.. I hope everyone enjoys the build, thanks for viewing and commenting

had to find a new driver fender because the car was backed into in a parkinglot
two days before i bought it

Then the dizzy took a **** a few days after i bought the car driving down the freeway

got a set of RT steelies for free that some kid ruined with a rattle can...

so i decided to restore the centercaps and throw them on the steelies that the wagon came on..

then noticed this after i aircraft stripped them

bought a ski rack for cheap off a guy at a gas station lol and installed a wink mirror and my illuminated japanese license plate.

went on a trip to Seattle and smacked the transfer case off the ground cracking the casing and needing a new trans

finally got it back together and running but was having issues with the car starting which turned out to be a loose wire on the o2 sensor

then my damn shifter cables started to go out

so i took it to my buddies shop and put new cables in

my custom ordered wheels FINALLY came in with my skunk2 front camber kit and megan rears

got everything on and fenders rolled/pulled but hated the rear camber

so i started pulling out the camber little bit little until i got it to where i liked how it sat

i have a bit of a spoon fetish lol

found some GTS civic wagon headlight covers and couldnt pass them up

this was the last show i went to before i sold the wheels and the car sat for what seemed like forever

the day i sold the wheels
so after i sold the wheels the car sat for a few months and nothing happened with it.. i then decided to tinker around with it and build my own seat brackets since there is NOBODY that makes seat brackets for a civic wagon..

i then put the Chargespeed wing on but the car still sat

then i started tinkering around with the K that my GF had bought me for christmas.. bought a karcepts AC/PS delete, alt relocate, with a shaved waterpump from a buddy that went S/C in his RHD K swapped del sol..

just a couple weeks ago i bought a set of Mag Blue TE37, Mag Blue TE37SL, and Mugen NR10's.. i've had the Mugen RNR for a while now and i have a set of Mugen CF48's sitting at my buddies house waiting for me to pick them up in Cali.

i put some yokohama rubber on the TE37SL's and put them on the wagon.. i need to take out some camber in the rear but im waiting on my new camberkit that should be here thursday..

pulled out the shitty single cam last night

these goodies came in the other day

my buddy is giving me money and putting a rear disc setup on my wagon for the A6 and everything that goes with it, RT trans and all sorry :/
That RT4WD trans is worth more than the wagon to a lot of people. I wouldn't have traded the 4WD for anything. Definitely worth staying with the D-series IMO.
Do you plan on bringing back the camber?

well seeing that i will no longer have a need for it and never use it i might as well sell it to a friend that restores wagons.. last count i made at his shop was 13 wagons that he owned..
but the RT system for the 4th gen wagons wasnt AWD it was 4WD.. the car stays FWD until the wheels slip which activates the viscous coupler turning the rear half of the driveshaft activating the rear differential powering the rear wheels.
sorry it irks me when someone calls RT4WD's AWD and wagons wagovans lol

Edited. That was just my error while typing. I was lazing and hit the A instead of swinging over for the 4 key. I was also just voicing an opinion that I would have changed the build for the RT4WD system.
Anyway, nice wagovan. Just kidding.
What is the most recent photo? The wheel situation is deceiving and I'm wondering where the build is actually at currently as far as cosmetic alterations.

i decided to put my lip on but did and took some photos of how i did it.. only thing i didnt take a picture of was the 3M double sided tape i stuck in the middle of the lip so i didnt have any screws showing.

i then drilled holes in each end

and fit some pull caps in that i bought at autozone

finished product from the front

Freemananana that last couple pictures is how it sits currently, im waiting on a **** ton of parts to come in the mail so i can put the K in and take it to English Racing to have it tuned

Maybe it is the angle, but the camber looks excessive if you plan on autox or anything like that. What kind of racing do you plan on doing? I don't know many people who have aero kits like that.
ehhhh on a wagon its a lot of custom fabrication. i have to make a bracket for it to bolt into the front side and the backside its bolted into the car underneath the bumper cover using the brackets it was supplied with.
