Hey what's up,
I have a 86 g1 teggy, and I'm trying to lower it and I can't figure it out cause its not springs in the front. I heard you can lower it by messing with the torsion bar. But. I don't want to mess it up. Can anyone please help, or direct me to where I can figure it out. Thanks again.

It has springs in the front. Torsion bars are springs.
Torsion bars are neat in that they can be re-indexed to change ride height. The problem here is that doing so doesn't provide the increased spring rate needed to account for the lowered ride height. The correct solution here is thicker (stiffer) bars to replace the stock ones, indexed to the desired ride height.
The common issue with torsion bars is the lack of availability of replacements. I don't know who makes / made any for the car, nor what could potentially be fitted to the car. You're going to have to do a fair bit of research here.
