SRS Light.
So my friends a 5th Gen accord has the srs light. I tried the reset but it comes back on, so there's an issue.
My question is can i troubleshoot the srs box without that harness adapter?
Should I check if the ecu throws any type of code? (CEL not on)

Yes you have to find correct jump point. I have a 5th gen accord wagon. For me the jump point was under the glove box area. It was a blue plug.
Some models you have to jump two terminals on the OBD2 but not sure which models or years.
You would then have to count the SRS light blinking. You will have to count long blinks then the short blinks to get your code.
You will need the correct code list for your year.
If you search this forum hard you will find all the info. Its here somewhere.
Good Luck

Two wire blue connection under/behind the glove box door.
SRS codes can be obnoxious, if you only get a constant blinking beyond any codes in the FAQ then you will need to check the voltage of each circuit per the FSM.
