RSX leather REAR SEATS in my 88' CRX
So, I had installed JDM CRX rear seats in my previous CRX a few years back, but I didn't want to drop $700 on a set this time around so I did some quick measurements and discovered that RSX seats should fit pretty well.
Just picked up some 2006 RSX leather rear seats tonight that I found on CL for $100 and did a quick test fit and it looks like they'll work out well once I fabricate some brackets.
Will post pictures this weekend of the process of securing the seats and seat belts...
...in the meantime here are a couple pics of the test fit.
NOTE: I did not remove the original compartment and handle that's behind the front seats so the seats are sitting a few inches higher than they will when im done.

First off it looks horrible doesn't fit at all and secondly your going to put your son back there? So much for keeping your family safe!! Please do not put a child back there!!
You're on a forum. People will give their opinions. Deal with it.
It's horrible parenting to put any children back there. Or in the passenger's seat of a CRX, for that matter.
Not to mention, it looks horrible, even when it gets fitted in better. I would have paid the add'l for a real CRX seat; it's what, $250-300 more these days? Worth it. But as you say, it's your car.

While you're at might as well start a thread about parents taking their children out on their motorcycle... c'mon you guys should be up in arms about that too...no seatbelts! no ton of steel surrounding those kids!

Do you see me crying? lol I could care less about your thoughts and opinions on my parenting...it's completely off topic as this is a honda tech forum. I was going to post a tutorial for those who don't want to spend $700 on JDM rear seats, but EF YA'AL. (yes that was a pun)
