FL f/s 1995 honda odyssey
Transmission condition? Original? Also interested in more photos of the rear seats and storage area. Also interested in seat photos in the front. I'm mildly interested in this vehicle for my spouse. It has family car potential.
Deal for someone good with their hands. GLWS!
Thanks for the bump. My tech, who left Honda and started his own shop (Breit ones automotive) said that these were some of the best Honda 4 cylinder auto trannys ever produced. he said these very rarely came into the shop with transmission issues.
The auto trans is my only worry. If $500 is a ballpark price, I'd definitely pay that much for a rebuilt trans. It seems very low to me though. I'll show this to my wife none the less. She may be willing.
Ok man, thanks. I have the receipt for the motor and all the work that was done last August. All parts replaced were purchased at holler Honda.

A dealer would probably want 2k to do the trans, somewhere like Aamco would prolly be over a grand too, but private trans builders would tackle something like that for $500-600 easily. Atleast around my area. Parts for the job are prolly like $200. Even a used trans itself from a u pull it would probably only be ~$250-300
A used trans is just another time bomb to be honest. I'd definitely have it rebuilt if it started giving me any issues. Our current auto vehicle is giving us some trans issues. I'm just not a fan of auto transmissions.
I'm pretty sure a dealer would charge more than $2k too. The Honda dealership charges $1600 for a clutch job, so a trans rebuild has to be considerably more than just removing the trans and replacing 3 wear items.

The one in the vehicle is also from 1995 and has over 180k on it. So it's a legitimate concern for THE GUY WHO WAS INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR CAR. Calm down bro, we're keeping your thread bumped.....but at the same time it's your thread, so I'm out. GLWS
