Default NEED HELP WITH MY H2B DIZZY

please read everything

hey guys just to catch up on whats going on, my h2b had a lagging/jerking issue. so what i mean by that is, daily driving would be ok but would feel this small lagging/jerking. of course it would happen more when you accelerate but even going at a consistent speed you would feel this jerk every 10seconds. ive replaced a brand new fuel filter, fuel pump, new fuel lines, tried my dsm 450cc injectors(made it worst, but tried to see if it was my stock fuel injectors, and also i have the obd1 prelude injectors running to resistor box), brand new liquid fuel filter gauge reading at 41-43psi, re-wired all my wires from injectors to resistor box(thinking it could be wrong or faulty wiring but not), timing is dead on, just had my cylinder head rebuilt with new seals valves power coated hot tanked, COST ME A LOT and still running like crap!!!!!! compression and leak down test is all in the clear! no leaks and compression is above 200. so last thing i did was swap out dizzy. bout a jdm type S dizzy from my buddy, ever since i rewired the new dizzy to match obd2b harness now it MISFIRES and wont rev past 3000rpm. i was ****!! so i put my old dizzy back on and its doing the same thing!!! i followed a diagram i found on google about obd1 to 0bd2a/b conversion and kept going back to see if i wired it correctly and i did! so my question is what the hell do i do next?? im about ready to just sell the car and take my lost but if anyone has any idea please HELP ME!

year make and model mods(if anyone is wondering)
2000 Honda Civic ex Jdm h22a with qsd kit ITR 4.7 final drive trans with bolt ons thats it.

OH FORGOT TO ADD. what i forgot to mention is that im running stock p13 base map on my chipped p28. i get codes 4,9 and 10. if i remember correctly codes 4 and 9 had something to do with my dizzy but the funny thing is when i plug in my p28 ecu i get code 22 which is my vtec pressure switch.. and i have checked my IAT its reading correctly with my volt meter and also my vtec pressure switch. never had i had a problem with vtec not engaging

Ask to a known good tuner. Will cost less than selling and giving up because a $100 tune and maybe a bad dizzy or wire. Also try another ECU.

Dyno and tune your car. You can have the stock base maps on chipped p28, but not necesarily it will work the same.

yea that would be my next best shot of figuring out whats going on with my motor but at the very moment like i said it wont even rev past 3k. once its able to run again with the jerking issue or without i'll take it in for a tune. ive just lost interest in this project.

My H22 civic has the same issue. Check the EGR and also try another ecu. I had the problem before, switched to S300 and tuned and was fine for a while. The problem began again around winter and I haven't driven the car since.

i thought it could be EGR too but im not using the EGR as im running obd1. unless your talking about the EGR ports on the intake manifold that needs to be drilled and cleaned out?

If I had to bet money on the lagging "jerk" issue, I'd place my bet on the IACV. EGR could be a problem, but...think about it. A faulty IACV could be letting more air in every once in a while, making you feel a jerk and lag.

As for your dizzy, why would you put a JDM dizzy on your usdm motor? That is a dizzy swap known to give problems, even when people seemingly wire everything right. Go back to a brand new usdm distributor, and use the crank sensors.

I'm sorry, I even read your OP and didn't see it was an H22a. So you made the point that you put on a new JDM dizzy...was it usdm before? If not, your distributor should be perfectly fine

my old dizzy i have no clue if it was jdm or usdm but wirings werent the best, some wires were very loose and barely connected. with the old dizzy it jerked/lag. read somewhere and was even told to try replacing dizzy either jdm or usdm(didnt matter from what i was told) that it could have been the problem. so like i said i figured i try anyways to eliminate that and say its not or it is
