What engine have I got? & New to bond cars
I just got my first car which is a 1.6 VTEC Honda civic 2005 3 door,my engine has a red top or a red cover and I'm not sure if it's a red top engine or not,the car drives crazy fast and it's a complete beast never fails to get me hard as concrete when it drives but I'm not sure if I have got a sporty engine or not BTW the car hits the red line and past the redline I tryed looking for codes writing g on the red top but I found nothing
And can someone explain the terminology that people use like wtf is a tranny or a jdm or ep3 and similar words

What country are you in? What trim level is the car?
In the US the 3 door was only available in the Si trim level with a K20A3. The engine code is located on the block near the starter.
The K20A3 is slower than most minivans these days so you either have a swap or haven't been around any cars that can accelerate quicker than a bicycle.
