Default Decisions of an engine to get/build

So, I'm contemplating of what to get. Here are the choices: B20V, H2B, or a 2.0 GSR. Going to an ek hatch btw.

H2B.
Its hard to beat that displacement advantage.
250whp is possible with the stock h22 bottom end. Not so much with b series. My 2 cents.

With no budget, sell honda and get something that doesn't take thousands of dollars to make "some" power.

Either your a hardcore Honda fan with some deep pockets or you have not really counted out all the money you'll end up spending to get this car rolling down the street.

Any scratch build where you don't already have some portion of what you plan on building to start off with generally going for means your already starting in the hole but more power to you to go with what ya like. I personally vote K swap

Was looking into kswap, but the price is crazy for a good built one. If I were to head that direction, I was thinking of a k20 head and k24 bottom.

So there is a budget? Lol you can't say no budget then say well that's crazy expensive.

220whp 2L B-series can be built for around 3500-4500 if you source your parts correctly and watch for the right deals. If you do it right you'll spend 1k on the block, machine work and components, another 1500 on the head (VT/CAMS) and then the rest of the stuff you need will add up to around 1500-2000 dependent on what you run with. I tend to overbuild and spend the extra on nicer stuff.

I built my car/motor just as a placeholder for a little bit until I can build what I really want. And to go fast... really fast, straight, I will be parting w/ my love of hondas for reliability and consistency. AKA big block chevy
