I was wondering if I should go with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or an upgraded ecu? please let me know. I want to upgrade but not sure which would be better. thanks a lot...

What mods do you have on your car?? You might want to even think of getting an AFC..

well, I have of course an intake and an exhaust. along with a mild crane cam, dc sport header, underdrive pulley, an eg intake setup(94 EX), accel wires and a polished head. Oh yeah, I am going to put in my stage 2 Exedy racing clutch and a fuel aggressive chip. That's it. any suggestions?

I would go with the apexi safc. Lets you tune the air/fuel mixture better than an fpr or static chip.

how much better would it run and how many hp more? also would I have to get it professionally tuned or can I do it by myself?

I'd say FPR because it's easily adjustable. But never ran a chipped ECU, but ran different ECU's if that counts.
