cranks but won't start, anyone have a good trouble tree?
I have a 95 GSR and I just replaced the alternator because the old one was burnt. After replacing the alternator my battery light will not illuminate when the key is on engine not running. The fuse is good, but the light isn't coming on. Could this cause a no start situation? My ECM fuse is good, ignition fuse is good. Any opinions on where to start? could I have fried something in my ignition coil when testing the old alternator before I condemned it? Does anyone know of a good trouble tree for cranks but no start condition? Chilton isn't being very helpful, as well as Mitchell1. Any input is appreciated!! thank you
yeah I was hearing the fuel pump turn on, after rearranging some fuses I found a blown one under dash and after I straightened out all the proper amperages in the respected places with no blown fuse car fired right up and ran properly. It's amazing the cluster **** previous owners can create within these Hondas.....
