Rear disc brake conversion question
Hi i also have a ej6 ek coupe 99 got del sol sir trailing arms there would i have to change brake lines, hand brake cables and prop valve any help would be great thanks.
It's my opinion that you won't need a prop valve, but others hold a different opinion.
If you search the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) sticky at the top of the forum in the dark grey you'll find ALL the information you could ever need to do a rear disc conversion.
eH.
you dont need a 40/40 prop
BUT
it helps proportion more fluid pumped to the rear get more brake power in teh back....hence why you are adding rear disc yes?...
iv done both. without the 4040 slamming on brakes you can feel its more brake up front and not nuetral (front and back)

^^^^^^94eg8 is exactly right you don't want to use the prop valve from an ex from what I have read the calipers will not fully disengage with the prop valve from an ex civic. The faq section has detailed info on this mod.
