Jerking and sometimes stalling when come to stop??
I bought my Honda a few months ago. I drove it for 2 days and the transmission went out. I replaced the tranny with a used one and seemed to be driving fine. A day after getting the car back with the new tranny I came to a stop light and my car jerked drastically then came to a stop like normal. I pulled over shut the car off and started it again. It didn't do it again until my car was shut off for a few hours and cold. Few days later kept doing the same thing then stalled so I start it again and it doesn't jerk until cold again. I have no idea what it is I replaced the spark plugs with no results also the engine light is not on. Please help
Check the fluid on the transmission? What model Civic did the transmission come from? You can't put an LX/DX transmission on an EX.
I've been driving it for a few months now and it seems to be getting worse. The fluid in the transmission is good I've checked that multiple times I don't think it has to do with the tranny.
