Hello, My brother owns a 02 Accord V6 automatic, earlier today his car didn't want to start, the engine cranks but doesn't fire up, he said a few days ago it didn't want to start but when he tried it again it started, now it doesn't even want to try to start, anyways I noticed the main relay doesn't click, the CEL light stays on for a few seconds then blinks 5 times then turns off, D4 light comes on and off but no click. Any grounds on the engine I should check? Any ideas?

 

The problem is now fixed, we took it to a mechanic who said the Alternator was bad, so we had him replace it, when we got the car back the AC compressor kept making a clicking noise, the car then would not start again, we took it back and he cleaned the throttle, which he said was dirty, got the car back once again and had a high idle, we noticed he messed with the throttle screw and the throttle was being kept open very slightly, we adjusted the cable and the car sits nicely again, we will not be taking it back to them ever again.
