Default Looking to buy a gsr, looking for some opinions

What's a good deal for an all original 97 gsr with 280k? Ill start with the bad first, the car has a big dent in the drivers quarter and its started to rust pretty bad, it would more then likely need to be replaced. The hood is bent so it shuts awkard. The car has some new oem parts including the headgasket, timing belt kit with the water pump, NGK wires and plugs, head was shipped out and cleaned and had new valve seals. but the car is solid otherwise, strut towers, unibody, rocker panels all look good so is it worth saving?

Like a grand, at most. Honda motors are reliable, but 280k miles on a B18C1 (a rather abuse-prone motor...) is a lot and it's running on borrowed time. I bought a shitty high mileage car (see build thread) and since then I've watched *many* cars in much better shape show up and then sell, and every time I see one I regret not waiting.

Wait for a better one to show up.

800 IF that a big dent and rust at 280k is nuts just find a clean body car that isn't fucked to ****. Those parts you listed aren't really "parts" they're regular maintenance and you can only hope that's been kept up with, it's not hard to find a clean body you just have to be willing to fork over a few grand.
