101000 miles on brakes...
I just turned 101000 miles on my 2013 civic and still have the original brakes! Has this ever happened to anyone else??? I also just replace the original tires at 98,000 miles. I know I used the car for commuting purposes, but still thats pretty incredible... Any Comments?

Are you the first owner of the car? 101000 miles seems a little high but if for real it's impressive.

Considering I get maybe 30k out of mine but I do track the car also.

Makes me a believer in Honda quality that's for sure...

When I worked at a tire shop, some businessman came in for his first set of tyres with his 100k mile corvette (C5) that he used for commuting.
That was crazy.
I can believe 100k miles on a civic, though that is uncommon. Good job on the upkeep, OP.

Now you want high mileage tires guaranteed?... Michelin HydroEdge, I had that tire a while back and drove the dog out of them and still got 95,000 out of them, that's what they're rated for!!!

You can run tires a lot longer in the desert than you can in places with lots of rain and/or snow.
A tire still works great at 4/32" tread if you barely ever drive through anything but dry ground. Hell...a bald tire works better on dry ground than a treaded one, all things being equal.
In the wild wild midwest, people usually replace tires around 5/32" or 4/32". Tire isn't totally worn out (2/32"), but its not worth keeping anymore after 4/32", unless you're going into a "dry" summer. "Dry" meaning it only torrentially downpours once every 4 days instead of everyday.
I need to move back to the desert :'(

That's nice my 2011 lx hit 30k it needed front brakes. When I picked the car up used with 21k I made the dealer put new tires on. The oem good year set was done. I wish I could get those things to last more then 2 years.
