I have a bad ecu and need to replace it. I just replaced the engine with an 04 v6. Kept the same tranny. Car is misfiring but cylinders are compressing correctly at the right compression. Doesn't make sense. Mechanic tells me it's the ecu. So I need to get a new one. The oem one is a 37820-RCA-A06 (P5)
Would I be able to use a 5L or an EZ?
I am unable to find my model on eBay and don't feel like dishing out 400 bucks on a brand new one. What alternatives are there?

 

Turns out it was just a fuel injector. I checked those before and they were fine, but i guess something went wrong when i put the engine in.
