Hi Im new to fourms but hopefuly you can help me. I have a few questions on a B18A1 Swap in a 1990 CRX HF with D16A6



Keep reading for as to why I have this in the integra section of the fourm.



Ive done a d16 swap beforre but never something like this.

I know exactly what I need and what to do but I was wondering...

To put a B18A1 into a 90 CRX HF Would I need 1990 integra spindel and calipers? To work with a B18A1 axel?? Or would the B18A! Axel fit into a stock 1990 HF CRX Spindel?

Also Would a B18A1 Work with a stock D16A6 raditor? I read id have to make some ghetto rig if i cant find exact hoses.

Also Would a D16A6 ECU work with the B18A1 I know thats a ridicoulous question to ask but a few places I read said It Can be done


What else do you think I would need for this swap this is what I have so far.


Hasport mounts

B18a1 Raditor hoses

Shift linkage

Tune up kit including Spark plugs , wires, water pump, belt, starter, alternator, and smaller things like zipties and hoses clamps and such

1990 Honda CRX HF Rust bucket that needs some TLC bad. Rotted wheel wells and rotted rockers Have replacement wheel wells already.

B18A1 Engine with tranny 100,000 miles

you can use your axels no need for new knuckles etc, just get the rad hoses for that engine the rad doesn't matter so long as the hoses fit snug with the clamp.

 

Have you done this before?

 

Put type r in my friends CRX a few months ago same deal as what you're asking.
