91 Honda Accord won't start
Hi, I'm new here and come with hopes to find some help fixing issues with my '91 Honda Accord not starting. The car was running fine until yesterday, then the car starting idling rough at stop lights with slow acceleration. Once my driving speed increased the idling appeared to be normal. I drove it to work and when I went to drive home it would not start. The car will attempt to crank over, but it will not start.
I checked the fuel return line and it seemed to try to start, but didn't. The fuel pump seems to be working, as I can hear it. The battery is good also.
I checked the spark plugs, all seem good, however, I have replaced the spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, coil and fuel pressure regulator, but the car still will not start. I would greatly appreciate any help as to what may be causing the issue. I look forward to hearing ANY ideas you may have. This is my only car for work and I need to get it back up and running soon. Thanks!

I also have a 91 accord ex that im having trouble with...I was driving home from work & all of a sudden my radio started turning off & on & my gages stopped working. As I continued to drive the car began to lose power & start to sputter as I got over on the shoulder the car died out. After my wife arrived I boosted it & drove about a mile & it did the same thing. I had to boost it 5 more times to get it home. I have a brand new battery I purchased 3 days ago & yesterday I took the alternator off took it to autozone & they said it was good so I dont know what else it could be. ...? Main relay?
Well, you say you're getting spark, but I'm dubious. Most no-start issues in my experience are ignition-related. Unless your t-belt is busted (in which case the cranking would sound weird - really fast), I'm thinking your distributor is shot. I was on my 4th distributor in my 1991 Accord SE at 416k miles. You could probably try to troubleshoot that, but a new one is around $150 or less, used is probably practically free. Just mark your rotor position and match that on the new distributor (and match the clean/dirty marks on the head when clamping down the new distributor for approximately the same timing). - Joe
