Default Questions about EF B Series Mounts

Hi, I'm Jes and I own a 1991 Civic Hatchback SI with a B16A swap (including the Y1 LSD Cable Trans).

I've had the swap for many years now, and it is well past time to replace the haggard urethane inserts. I have all Hasport Mounts and just purchased the 70A (race) from Hasport.

I'm looking for info on the smartest way to dive into this project... Meaning, which mount do I start with first? Any advice on tackling the rear mount? ETC...

Mostly just looking for a simple write up for the process of changing out my mount inserts. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I've always done rear first, then trans, then driver's side.

It's pretty straight forward. Just dive in. Make sure you have a hydraulic jack, jack stands, a good set of hand tools, a few extensions, and a swivel adapter.

have fun.

The rear one is a huge pain in the *** to get to.

I had some issues with my rear mount and when I replaced it, I essentially just picked up the whole motor (removing all the motor mounts) and replaced it first. Then I lined up the others. With the side mounts in place, I find it difficult to get the motor in position for the rear mount.

Thanks for all of the replies.

Rear mount was definitely the biggest pain, but mission was a success.

You don't have to lift the engine if you don't want to. I have successfully done it without lifting the engine even though I thought I might have to. I remember removing the rear intake support, oil filter, but not sure if I removed the alternator and/or the axle.

I was aiming to get the rear support bracket out not the mount though. You need a good flex head gear wrench for that back bolt though.
