Common Problems over the years
It's been awhile since i've been in the Honda Scene, but I've got the itch for a project car and the resources. I used to own a ton of Honda's back in the day and one of my favorites was the 97 Prelude I had so I'm looking at picking one up again.
My question is what sorts of problems do the 5th Gen Preludes have after all these years? What things should I prepare to replace?
Already preparing for the consumables like tires/belts/seals/fluids/etc, but things like sensors, emissions, switches, relays, etc are what i'm mostly interested in.
Any help appreciated. I have my eye one a 2001 Base, the blue color (not sure the official name). It's hydrolocked but not to concerned about the mechanicals at this point since it'll be a project car.
Thanks in advance.

Main relay, replace the timing belt tensioner every time you replace the belt along with all 5 oil seals on the front of the engine and you wont have to worry about anything. Like all old Honda's you have your main oil leak problems, especially the distributor shaft seals that cause oil to get into the distributor cap.
Electron Blue Pearl is your color btw.
