Default 1992 Honda Civic SI - B18C1 -

1992 Honda Civic SI w GSR Motor
Asking $5,800 OBO

Motor:
B18C1 with Manual Transmission (About 80K miles on Motor)
New head gasket about 10k miles ago
PasswordJDM Whale ***** intake
New battery (4 months old)

A/C blows cold (R12)
Power Steering intact

Suspension:
Tokico Illumina Adjustable Shocks (About 40k miles on them)
Neuspeed Sport Springs

Brakes:
Cross Drilled Rotors
4 Wheel Disc Brakes (OEM)

Wheels:
Honda Fit Wheels (OEM)
Brand New Khumo Tires

Exhaust:
Greddy Header
Full Cat back exhaust

Lights:
Bi-Xenon HID (Hi/Lo Beams 8000k)
Fog Light HID

Interior: (All original interior w/ power window)
Honda OEM Power Door Locks
Honda OEM Power Windows and controls (Converted from Coupe) with all new switches etc.
Honda OEM Sunroof (New track, motor, and all the internals. Works perfectly, about $900 just in parts from Honda)
Honda OEM Power Mirrors
Honda OEM Center Console (Recovered in Suede)
Honda OEM SI Front and Rear seats
Black Suede headliner, door inserts, arm rest, and pillars
Honda Double Din Coin container
Honda OEM Rear Speaker Set
Diamond Audio in Front and Rear
Sound deadening material throughout
Viper Remote Start/Alarm

The bad:
-Being a Florida car, the car will need to be repainted. I have taken photos of the areas of concern paint wise. There is absolutely NO rust.
-Since moving the car, it appears the oil pan gasket needs to be replaced and is leaking oil.
-Needs a new alternator (Thought the battery was shot after sitting, replaced with new battery but turns out it is in fact the alternator)
-The tranny grinds at high RPMS when shifting into third gear (Most likely the synchro)
-The passenger power window motor is a little weaker than the driver side but still works and is functional.
-Cruise control does not work. All of the internal pieces are there just never tracked the root cause.
-Front windshield looks like it is delaminating

This is a joke right? I usually muffle my distaste for ads, but this is ridiculous. Unmolested, but has an engine swap, blacked out hood, HIDs, needs a windshield and most likely won't run due to an alternator. Then you ask $8,000 for it. The car has a nice interior, but cars like this regularly have an asking around half of yours.

Make me an offer. The car runs fine, needs a new alternator and won't charge the battery. I have way more than 8k invested in it. Carry on sir.

Well - if you have more invested, you always get your money back so you should ask 12k.

I agree - this is a 4k car all day long. This ain't a k-series. This isn't 1999 anymore.

"Unmolested"

I almost felt like this was a troll thread after seeing the pics of an obviously molested car, left under a tree, in a front yard somewhere.

i also lol'd at unmolested. i do bodywork, that pass. quarter has had obvious work/respray, same with back bumper. you'd be better slapping a cheap paint job on it and aiming for 4500-5.

unmolested and cross drilled brake rotors don't go hand in hand.

I will never understand some of the for sale ads on this website. I just don't know what kind of thought process goes into justifying this price.

I really have a hard time adding 8k parts in your car. Plus do parts list prices to calculate your math?

BTW, it looks. Like this car has been sodomized for years.

No original paint
no original wheels
Swapped motor
OG Wing gone
And pretty sure driver door had been replaced as well.

You might have not molested this car but somebody sure did lol

OP
seriously you should just do a search and see what current Eg's are selling for this. This will give you a better idea of current market value.

you are way off base on price civics are not meant as an investment. Buy stocks instead if you want to make money

What's squished between the top and the bottom of the driver's side rear seat?
