Hi Gang, daughters car normally starts no problem. Yesterday the ABS light came on briefly then went off. This morning it started and drove (10 minutes) fine but on attempting to restart after a 30 minute stay the starter would not work. Dash looked fine to me (rarely drive it) the lights came up but no solenode sound or starter. One thing that looks out of place is the dash light showed up with the car doors open and the brake light directly underneath. I also believe I saw the park light blink rapidly 3 times. When the vehicle is towed here I will check for codes but in the meantime any ideas?

Does the ignition switch/key tumbler feel sloppy?
Does your daughter have lots of keys, trickets, charms, etc on her key chain? If so the tumbler and switch may be worn out. I *think* there was a recall on the 98/99 Accords for ignition switch related issues, you may want to check for any applicable recalls using your daughter's Accord VIN.
