My preference is for the Mugen XJs. Good price and size.

15x5 +45? Why such a narrow wheel and high offset? Are you shooting for an economy setup? That's a great bit narrower then stock SI wheels.

Yeah, it's a VX. Would like to keep the +55mpg.

Currently on the stock wheels, 13x5 +45 with 175/70 R13, closest I can find to OE is 15x5 +45 with 155/60 R15. Unfortunately, it's very narrow. I'd like a 6.5" width, but no one makes a 165/55 R15.

Any suggestions?

175/55/15 or 175/60/15 on a 15x6.5 +35 would work.

Thanks!

If I end up going with a Volk set up, I'll use those numbers. I did find a 165/55/15 made by Federal Tire - 595EVO.

Think I'm going to go with the WedsSport SA72R in Hyper Black Clear. A little less than half the price of the other wheels and ALMOST* as light (11.3lbs)

The other option is the SA15R. With the 15" wheel there are only 12 spokes. (10.31lbs).

*TE37s are 8lbs in the 15x7 rim. But $1028 savings for 12lbs difference.

Thanks Matt! I appreciate the information.

I'll post pics, probably start an appearance thread, once the wheels arrive.

And don't forget a drop... Haha just kidding it's up to you. But those wheels with that color should look nice.

DAMN! The TC105N are nice and he has a good price on them, but I'm not in NorCal so they'd be hard to buy without seeing in person.

Thanks for the link though!

The drop is on it's way!

I'm also going with some new wheels and tires.

WedsSport SA-72R 15x5" (11.3lbs) lighter than the HX wheels.

Federal 595EVO tires (165/55/R15). Same diameter as the OE VX tires and as wide as the tires I'm running currently.

Here's the link to my Tech suspension build thread (TL;DR - Cliffs: stock D15Z1. ITR suspension esentally.)

Once I get the rest of the parts in I'll start an appearance thread and see if I can have the tech thread closed with a link to the appearance thread. And then continue from there.
