Owning this car has been bittersweet. When I purchased it in October 2001, it had a litany of problems ranging from severely blown headgasket (and subsequently, irreparably warped cylinder head) to nearly worn CV joints, a horrible exhaust leak, cracked windshield and required daily feedings of antifreeze.
In the course of a year, a major engine replacement was done, the windshield was replaced, exhaust leak fixed, CV joints replaced, cooling system problems resolved, and many new sets of tires were installed :D
The new (used) engine has given me no problems whatsoever. The car runs great, gets approx. 20mpg (city) and 25mpg (hwy). The oil (10w30 Quaker State Synthetic Blend) has been changed every 3,000 miles on the new engine.
This Prelude is a perfect school car for teenagers and college students, without being too ricey . It runs great and looks good too.
All-in-all, this car has cost me nearly twice what I paid for it in repairs and replacement of major parts. Because the Kelly Blue Book is such a bloated price, I chose to list my car for what the NADA Guide lists it for. NADA is what banks and credit unions use for determining how much the car is worth for loan value when purchasing a vehicle.
NADA lists my car at average retail for $3925. I am offering it to Honda-Tech people ONLY for $3000. Everyone else, $3500.

PM me for more information or for my phone number or to arrange a time to see the car and test-drive it.

I am based out of Northern Oklahoma, so those who are out-of-state or halfway across the country, I will not drive there for you to see the car, sorry.
