All, has anyone successfully sealed off the hi & low pressure lines to the rear evaporator? I remember someone mentioned this in maybe one of the "black death" threads.

Long story short, compressor grenaded, multiple repair shop visits, and poor initial decisions by me. I'm pretty sure there's now blockage at the expansion valve. I've thrown enough money at this thing and perfectly happy with front A/C only. 274K miles and the bleeping A/C has been the only weak link in this van. We would like to keep it at least another year, maybe 2. Thanks. Carl
