Import vs. Domestic events have become super fast detroit Iron pouncing on the fastest imports around, I give up on those. Imports have gotten their *** handed to them 4 years in a row at E-town, it's pathetic. All those 8 second Street Renegade Mustangs and high 7 second Buicks make a mockery of even the fastest imports.

It has been different at MIR, this is heads up racing, not all bracket as they do it up at E-town.

Usually it was NIRA format, all motor 4, power 4, all motor 6, power 6, all motor 8 and power 8. This will be the first time for the IMSTAR format at the event and Jason Miller made the classes to try and keep the top competitors from both sides of the pond close to each other. It should be pretty interesting.

I was there in the stands watching. Tons of fun. There were 2 or 3 Vipers there and a couple of Ferraris too. A supercharged Crown Vic owned by a cop, Porsche 911 TT, and tons of fast NA and Turbo Hondas. By the way, does anyone know who won?

355s (with a good driver) run low 13s.

It was an old friend of mine driving it, it's his brother in laws car. Said it was hard to launch with the F1 tranny (bogged or something to that effect). He said 13.6, but the fastest I saw was 14.0

I was also expecting more out of the r33 skyline that ran like a 13.3
Heh, that was another friends car. He had a hard time launching it since the clutch that is in the car is very hard to slip. Instead it would just engage and the car would bog, even when he launched at 7000. Those times are honestly close to where it should be.

Nice mph Jason, I was trying to "hi" before the first round of eliminations but you were talking to some people and I didnt want to interrupt (tall guy hovering around your car with a Langley Lacrosse sweat shirt on )

I had a blast, got there early enough to beat the traffic. I was impressed with alot of the cars there. The low 11 second integ(burgandy) and the low 11's sec hatch( b16 turbo nos). Very fast unsuspecting cars. Also nice seeing you run jason, still cant believe you run 9's.

i went and had a great time. i didnt qualify for SS because i could only run a 15.5 (i need some drag radials) and had a hard time hooking up. ill have some pics up soon.

btw did anyone see that 80s-ish green mustang go almost verticle on launch? i swear that thing went up 90 degrees in the air.

like i said PICS WILL BE UP SOON, lots of em, look for them in Members Corner, and maybe a link from here to there again.
