Default Tune specific octane rating

Hi there guys! First thread on the forum and I apologize for posting a thread that might not really have an answer. (I just e-mailed vit tuner)

I just purchased Hondata from Vit tuner. Now, I will tune with 93 octane because that's the super unleaded option out here in KY. Now, in a few months I will head to AZ after when I finish my Army Contract.

In short: Will the octane rating change hurt my k247Z? I will not be able to purchase 93 octane in AZ like they do out here in KY. Only 91.

You should just get tuned for 91 then and not 93.

I'm on 93 and had to run half a thank at the track with 91 and a noticeable difference it was compared to my morning session when I was on 93 only!

You won't hurt your engine that much but your 2 options are getting tune for 91 or get tuned on 93 and then ask for a retune on 91. I would do the first option to avoid spending double the money and all that time you will need to retune/datalog on 91 after you move.

Yeah I just spoke to Hondata and I might as well just wait... I'd really not like to. I wish I could tune on 89.
