Default 2014 Si Lane Watch Delay

Hey HT -

Looking for help with an intermittent issue that just started on my 2014 Si. Car has around 8k miles on it. About a week ago I noticed that my Lane Watch was taking longer than usual to display the image. When I hit the blinker the screen goes black, then about 3 seconds later the image appears. There is no lag in the image once it appears. It only happens about 1 out of every 7-10 times I start the car. Turning the car off and back on resolves the issue every time. I've tried instigating the issue with various combinations of accessories on/off.

The car is completely stock. The only "mod" I've made is hardwiring a radar detector into fuse 23.

Anyone have any experience with this issue?

It's brand new...

You have a warranty...

Take it to the dealership

I will, I'm just trying to get some ideas first. I can tell right now I'm going to take it there and the problem won't happen. It seems so random. I do have video of it on my phone at least.

The only thing I can add, is in my TL the navigation and rear view camera stuff can take a few moments to kick in ~10-15s or so. The rear view camera comes on but the guide lines don't appear.

It's possible you're just seeing a lag due to the software not kicking in fast enough.

Since it's so new though and you're well within the warranty, I'd just take it by to have Honda look at it.

I've noticed a delay of about 5 sec. on one of our shop customers RDX when it comes to the review camera.

But like TheMuffinMan mentioned bring it to the dealer and have them deal with it!
