I have a 89 civic hatch with a zc shoc and a 5 speed i just installed a stage 2 exedy clutch and pressure plate car will go into gear while car is off but when i turn car on i cant put it into gear it seems like the clutch is not disengaging.... what should i try next?

 

Did you buy the right clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing for your transmission?

Tighten the clutch cable.

 

did you put the disc in backwards?

 

Did you put put the throw out barring in? Is the lever attached properly?
