I'm running a H22A Euro R and as you know H series sit LOW in a hatch.. Well the person who had the hatch before me has dropzone lowering springs, sitting on Skunk2 Struts.. Well it sits so low that my headers are scrapping (ALMOST going to bust a hole in the pipe) and my oil pan is close too.. My friend has a set of good EK springs. Will these fit on my EG? I've read they will> but then I've seen that they won't

Any help would be great.. right now its pretty much unavoidable scrapping...

 

Yes, they will fit. Cot dang its gonna be high off the ground with stock springs.

 

What else can I do? I've read sleeving struts and using lowering springs don't make a smooth ride. It's hard and choppy and my h22a already sits in solid mounts.. Ina hatch so it's already a stiff ride.

 

Eibach pro kit springs. Stock CTR/ITR springs and shocks. Konis and ground controls. Use ground control sleeves on your current shocks.

All good options.

Just remembered that those Skunk2's are shortened shaft shocks, aren't they?

Idk if they'll work very well with stock springs. They'd probably be fine with stock ITR/CTR springs, though...maybe....

 

Instead of putting the ek spring on... What if I put coil over sleeves on? That should allow a safe and reliable raise up.

 

Yes...but I wouldn't buy anything except ground controls.

Ground Control kits are threaded sleeves and springs. I would just buy off the shelf, standard rate spring versions. Make sure you're not buying the ones meant for Koni Yellows because they won't fit.
