Default should i do my own head internals???

i recieved my whole JUN head package, and also the valve keepers, and hopefully today or tomorow i willl be getting the cam gear keys and bolts. i know how to take valve springs out, i did it on my LS but i used a worthless autozone rental tool.

is there a better tool out there, i heard snap on is really good. i want to do this myself. would i need to worry about anything when i am putting my cams in?? ii am going to take it slow, if it becomes a hassle i will just take it to the shop that did my block. anyone have and pointers or suggestions.

thanx

troo... the machine shop i take it too the guy that did my block i think is leaving that place (at least that what is sounded like when he told me). so i just have to find someone who can do it. i can do the vavle springs.. but the issue is the cams... the head is off so would placing it in the correct spot (in regards to timing) be an issue.
