2000 Accord V6 Runs Rough Check Engine Light on
I was driving home tonight after work and my car started to run like it is misfiring on 1 cylinder, my "Check Engine" light kept on flashing. I am assuming I might have the following
1. Bad EGR Valve,
2. A Bad Spark plug
at Idle I would hear out of the Exhaust pipe "Kathunk Kathunk Kathunk".
Gonna be making an appointment with a trusted shop in the morning (Today) when I wake myself up lol. I read that the Fuel Regulator and or PCM might be needing to be replaced
Only had the car a little over a year with 194,234 miles on her.

That could be so many things man. Did you pull codes to see which are stored? It could be anything from a clogged cat, to coil packs, to plugs/wires, to a rod knock from the way your describing it lol.
If there is a misfire, unplug the ignition coils one at a time, and note if the engine changes or not. If, for instance, you unplug coil number 1, and the engine does not stumble worse than it already is, that is the faulty cylinder. It could be a spark plug, coil, injector, wiring etc. If you find this result, change the coil to another location and mark it, then unplug it again with the engine running. That will pinpoint a defective coil. assembly which is quite common.
Most V6 EGR problems are caused by a blocked manifold passage in the upper or lower intake manifold, not the valve itself.
I would start by diagnosing a misfire on one cylinder first. If your check engine lamp was flashing, you have at least one misfire DTC.

Ok guys, I got a verdict in............ ready?
I have 3 bad Ignition Coils on 3 of my Cylinders and I need spark Plugs. Well, talk about having a blonde moment ROFL!

Inspect the coil shafts for signs of burn-through. On a stock coil, this will appear as a black vein, usually less than an inch long. It is very distinctive. I would advise you to replace the entire set of coils.
