Trying to find out if a S2000 oil filter will fit on my d16z6 and if there will be any negative or positive effects on anything. Also what are your thoughts on full synthetic royal purple motor oil with a fresh oil change? The car current has 156,xxx miles on it so is this a good choice for oil and a filter or no?

Yes, it will fit. The S2000 filter simply has more surface area inside of the filter and a larger outer housing. It does not offer any improvement on actual oil filtration over the original Honda filter.

Oh I saw on another forum on another website that it would raise the oil pressure. Is that true?
