My 07 4 cyl Accord ac/heater blower is not working on any setting. I tried a new motor and resistor. Neither helped. When using the old resistor and I put power to either blower motor it bumps a little like its about to come on but does not. I tested the wire and old resistor with a multimeter, it's getting 30 amps to the motor and the bottom two pins, which I assume are 3 and 4, on the resistor have right at 1500 ohms. The new resistor has a different looking heat sink but I assume that does not matter. What am I missing? Suggestions?

 

Be sure you got the correct resisor.....memory tells me the 2 and 4 door are different.....and so is the testing (pins and that).

Can you run power and ground to the motor (from the battery or something) and run the blower motor?

More testing can be done once we know the trim/doors

And the part number of the transistor/resistor that was replaced?

Again they are different between the two and sometimes people have been sold the wrong one.

 

I think I have the wrong one. Have variable resistance from 1450 to 1700 on terminals 1 and 2
