My son just bought a 2002 Honda Civic about 5 weeks ago 3 weeks into having it it left him sit it won't move. Hearing about all the transmission problems we decided to get a used tranny so it is all put in and now it is still doing the same thing and won't move. So not only did we spend money for another transmission now we are out of ideas on what the heck it could be. I am so frustrated at this point I just wish people would be honest and not unload their problems on to someone else any help would be so appreciated

 

Start with checking DTC's. You should also tell us if it is a standard or automatic. If you want good info, I need good info. Read the posting guidelines.

 

Sorry it's an automatic, got the 2nd trans put in and same problem doesn't move 1st one was bad I'm just at a loss I just wanted a cheap car that runs for my son so he could get to work this has become a nightmare. I will never use the place where I got these transmissions ever again they won't give me my money back just exchanges
