Hi everyone, my friend and I are swapping a k24a2 into a 2005 rsx base manual and have a couple questions about tuning. So far everything mechanically has gone perfectly no hiccups yet, engine is ready to go in tonight. Basically it'll be ready to get tuned in the next couple days. What I want to know is, after we put the k pro in, and the engine is ready to go, can we upload the base tune of the k24a2 to the k pro and drive it to get tuned, or will it have to be towed to the tuner? Whichever answer I get to that I have a couple questions that stem off of that but let me know asap.

Yes, you can upload the K24A2 calibration into KPro and use that as a basemap until you get it tuned.

 

Wow that makes life a lot easier. Where can I download the basemap? Do I have to use the Oem injectors when using the basemap? And how easy is it to upload the basemap? I tried searching and can't find much info on this. On a side note the engine is in the car!
