Default 05 accord front crash sensor ohm testing

My Honda was in a minor front end crash. Air bags did not deploy. replaced front end and used the original sensors. Noticed the seat belt did not retract, so I got into the tension-er and now the belt retracts. I didn't think to put an ohm test on the seat belt component. The air bag light remains on. I did the reset procedures for the computer from the plug in the fuse box but the light returned. Is there any way to ohm test the crash sensors in the front bumper? How best to trouble shoot this problem? the light was not on prior to the accident. Does the front impact sensors ground themselves when you bolt them on? because i painted the chassis before reinstalling them.

Don't take this the wrong way.....but wouldn't you start with getting the code (SRS)before replacing parts

Well put. Accepted. After the accident the air bag light didn't turn on. After reassembling the new front end and using the original sensors the light came on. I didn't think that it could give a code to b read. Then that's where I'll go. Thanks no offense taken. As it appears I can rebuild a front end but no clue Anouilh electronics.

Hey, I HATE electrical things but because of "life" I've had to learn.

My "guess" - replace NOTHING on a guess - is the seat belt is the issue. You state it "locked"....so I'm guessing that is done for and will need to be replaced. I'm going on memory, once you have the code(s) I can compare that to the service manual and know.

Again a guess is the code(s) is in the range of 21-1, 3, 8, 9 + "X". All of which point towards the drivers belt latch or tensioner.
