wOoT. Picked up my new set of ROTA SLIPs today. There so bad @ss looking. I can't wait to get those beasts on my hatch. Hopefully by the end of the week.

anyone know where I can get cheap tires for them. just to last through winter.

Dude, the whole thing about Rota's is just to make it look like the real spoon Sw388s or Regamaster Evos!!! I cant stand it how Rota makes a million colors for that wheel! Especially the polished lip ones...or better yet, the entire polished wheel version! blah! Rota's are a great bargain, and are good quality. They make all the OG japanese wheels, more available to us poor folk who are more concerned with the look, rather than the original wheels which are like 3x the price! Seen the new Rota Mugen RNR copy? Just like Tenzos, and they even are making the black with red lip version too!

 

i think it will look nice with your car. It will match your headlights...but it would look better with a CF hood too

 

i like them.. i used to hate black rotas. They grew on me. Post pics when there on your hatch.

carbon fiber hood is actually on the way. My friend bented my current hood. So hes giving me money to buy a CF hood. The center caps did look alittle wierd. I wasnt to sure if I was going to use them or not. But the part that where my wheel goes on, the center is all like rusted/fugly. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it or cover it up. Like make the caps all black?

and thanks for the props on the rims. they will look nice when there on my car. I want them on REAL soon, and not just sitting in my living room. ill post pics asap when there on.

i gave my hubs the krylon touch where they show through the center of the wheel. i didn't like the brassy look, so i painted them "antique bronze" since i didn't have any black laying around.

 

dont put those rota caps on...go get some honda 1's they look hott on them IMO either that or just leave them like that

Getting a set of these for my 95 GSR rims, and once I get my Stern Aguzze's from my buddy I'll slap some Falken Azenis on those.

I sold the rims for 450. Turned around and got the Rotas for 400 and still got 50 bucks toward some tires for them. I'm gonna hit up BiG O Tires in town and try and get some tires this week.

Sounds like painting the center isnt a bad idea. just so I dont see that nasty rust/bronze stuff
