Have any of you guys installed yours in a cable tranny setup? Some of us don't have the hydraulic assistance of the newer cars.

You have an Action disk with a ACT pressure plate, no?
I have the Action dual diaphram pressure plate and action metallic disk. It looks like it's gonna be a leg workout.

I have the Action 6-puck sprung sintered iron disc mated to the ACT HD pressure plate.
Feels ok, and is holding the 207lb/ft (at flywheel) on my Y8 motor just fine!

if you guys had to choose between a ACT or ACTION CLUTCH which one would you get...(for street/racing use no 6 puck or 4 puck)

i got the 2MD..did any of you guys had chattering sounds for a while?
i got chattering sounds around 750 to 1500 miles..but its gone now..

the MD kits come in sprung and unsprung discs.
1MD has a choice of a sprung puck disc or solid puck disc
2MD is the same but with a dual diaphragm pressure plate
the KS kits are same choice of pressure plates as the MD's but it is a KEVLAR full face disc.

I'm using the Exedy Pressure plate (same torque capacity as a heavy duty ACT.) with the action 6 puck metallic disc.
Works marvelously

Y r u guys using another company's pressure plate and using the action disk?? What is wrong with using the action pressure plate?
