US-ZC vs JDM-ZC mounting differences???
I bought a US version DOHC ZC to replace my JDM ZC while i'm building it. The only problem is the right side (drivers side) motor mount from my JDM ZC doesn't seem to work on the US version. What will????????
Wait a second, hit the brakes...
First of all, the 'ZC' motors only came in Japan. There is no such thing as a 'US ZC' The closest US relative to the JDM DOHC ZC is the D16A1, which came out of 86-89 Acura Integras.
Where did you get this ZC motor? If it's the A1, I don't think you'll be able to put it in your car - you might try removing the ENTIRE drivers side motor mount (not just the rubber part, but the entire bracket that actually bolts on to the block) and replacing it with the stock (Si, Dx, Hf whichever one you had stock) motors entire motor mount.
