I'm just testing the waters here, thinking about selling my '89 Honda CRX. She has 238,000 miles on her. I bought the car off an older gentleman, who owned it for the last 10 years. He had it maintained by a friend who worked at Honda.

Car was bone stock when I got it, and the only modifications I've made are KSport coilovers and Panasport FS15E wheels w/ Bridgestone Potenza RE11A tires. I also added a set of rear OEM mudguards. Everything else on the car is OEM Honda. Original D15B2 Engine with DPFI, runs great.

I just performed a valve adjustment and changed the oil 2 weeks ago with Valvoline 5w30 and an OEM Honda oil filter. Has an Optima Yellowtop battery as well. Spark plugs were changed last week with new NGKs. The radiator was replaced by the previous owner so it is also new.

Only a few negatives, missing the carpet but the rest of the interior is present and clean. It also has the usual rust beginning in the rear quarters but it is definitely not bad yet. The clear coat is an issue on this car, it is flaking off of the top areas of the paint. Finally, it has a small oil seep from the front main seal, which as with Hondas is common but an easy fix.

Overall, this is a clean and mostly original Honda CRX, it's super fun to drive, and hard to find in good shape nowadays.

I have the stock wheels with great tires as well and can put them back on if so desired. The KSport coilovers can also be raised back to stock height. Additionally, I could also sell the car without the Panasport wheels for a lower price.

It's automatic which is the only reason why I'm trying to trade it for a 5 speed I wanna get back into autocross now that I have the time for it. It's in perfect condition in and out d16y8 power everything cold ac inspected runs perfect no issues

 

Still git the rex?? Intrested in my EK I know it's not manual but automatic makes a great daily cold ac great car maybe willing to put cash on top
