Spending a few years in Japan for my job and picked up a couple cheap cars. A 1999 4 door Odyssey and a 1999 Civic Hatch. Here to try and get some information about a couple of minor issues.
The Odyssey has an issue with the shift lock, it doesn't want to shift out of park unless I push the shift lock button on the console. Normally I hear a click when I hit the breaks but now, no click.
The hatch doesn't pop when you pull the latch by the door. The cable works, the catch on the hatch works with the key. When I pull the latch it hits the latch on the hatch, but when I pull on the hatch it does not release.


Any help would be appreciated.
