Thought I'd share my creation with the world.. Getting ready for a VIP spot at a local car show in my area ‪#‎hondafest2015‬ ‪#‎hondafest‬ on the 19th..

I'd always wanted to be on the cover of Honda Tunning ‪#‎RIP‬.. But I'd figure if I couldn't be on there cover I'd show omage to them by putting there covers on my hood and wing..

My eg hatch has been built by me built for me... Just finished up the shave and tuck.. Its at the painters now.. ‪#‎addmotorsports‬ ‪#‎diyforlife‬ ‪#‎builtnotbought‬ ‪#‎built4menotyou‬

i used spray adhesise (loctight, Super 77) over 30 covers on the hood and 10 on wing... the hood was a steal oem. the wing was an old peeling clear/gel coat duckbill.

some may say why... i have read and reread these magazines over and over.... they sit on my bookshelf in the office at my home.. i really love my honda as much as all of us do...

why didn't i photocopy the covers and use them? why... why not use the covers... each one been rolled up in my backpack, stuffed in a "suitable" school book... or some spent there life for weeks in teacher and professors desk draws... each issue has a story... each page shared so much knowledge to me.. it wouldn't do the magazine and all the writers and editors, the photographers justice....thats why...

OLDEST ISSUE 2002 has older but the covers were not salvageable.








this just came in via text from my buddy as i write this...

here are some pics of the car... having some fun with the MAT paintjob before the inter respray f*ck ur decals and vinal wraps, got some hand lettering and graphics by my sister Rena @renamasson @tunkcityrevival.




why a tank...why not.. this built block is a loose one and sounds like a tank rolling down the road... ;-)



and some bay progress pics. the bay is going FJ Cruzer Quicksand the exteriaer will go the same in winter respray..




dont mind the painted hardware had to keep the car mobile due to cluttered garage space

the homage to HT is great, nice idea.
