91-accord stationwagon automatic. temp gauge not working. i replaced sending unit but didnt help. any advice greatly appreciated. thanks,

 

Is the wire to the sending unit contacting? I ask because when this happened to me I had to cut the connector off and crimp it to the sending unit. I did this over two years ago and it still works.

 

To test the gauge, you connect the gauge connector to ground in the vehicle with the ignition off. Then get in the car and turn the ignition on. Then watch if the gauge rises. It should. Make sure it doesn't get to hot or it could damage the gauge.

I meant the gauge connector. I corrected it. Just use a simple set of test leads.
